Tennis, being a highly dynamic and skill-based sport, demands precision and efficiency in every aspect of play. Among these, the serve stands out as one of the most crucial shots, often dictating the flow and outcome of a match. Traditionally, coaches and players rely on subjective assessments or costly motion capture systems to analyze and optimize the tennis serve. In this project, I used convolutional neural networks to predict four different classes of tennis serves and did a pose estimation and analysis using MoveNet.
Singapore experiences varying weather conditions, predominantly sunny or rainy, which may increase the risks of contracting dengue. This project aims to analyze trends in Singapore weather and dengue fever incidence across different regions to identify high-risk areas and vulnerable populations prone to dengue outbreaks under specific weather conditions. By leveraging exploratory data analysis techniques, the objective is to uncover patterns, trends, and correlations in the data.
Predicting HDB resale prices is vital for homeowners, buyers, and agents. An app with customizable parameters can offer valuable insights. This project aims to develop a platform for predicting HDB resale prices based on preferences, streamlining price comparison process for buyers and sellers and attracting users to our platform.
Mental health is an increasingly serious issue in Singapore, with depression being the most common mental illness, particulary in youths. Youths spend a considerable amount of time on social media and express their feeling in their online posts. This project aims to detect whether youths are at risk of depression based on their online posts.
In this project, we explored the relationship between lifestyle habits and chronic disease risks. Our mission is to leverage data science for identifying individuals at high risk based on their behaviors, aiming for early detection and personalized health strategies.
